The Healing Power of Art
Ellen Stirling, RN, MSN, ATR
Ellen has helped children and their families deal with grief and loss since 1974 both as a Master's level nurse and a Registered Art Therapist. She has helped her clients discover their own paths using art therapy since obtaining her Master's degree in art therapy in June 2003. Ellen has presented on topics of grief, bereavement, and art therapy to a variety of audiences, professionals (mental health, child abuse, hospital, hospice and schools), and community organizations. Most recently she has worked with skilled nursing professionals and adult community groups presenting Advance Care Planning workshops.
